Gang stalking, also referred to as group stalking or organized stalking, is a term used to describe a set of instances similar to COINTELPRO. Certain people are being systematically followed, monitored, harassed, or tortured by a coordinated group of people. These groups include strangers, neighbors, coworkers, or even government or law enforcement entities, acting with the intent to disrupt or destroy the target's life. The program has its roots as far back as the Cheka in the Soviet Union but more famously the East Germany Secret Police or STASI utilizing "Zersetzung" tactics.
